Sherlock is mostly useless if you are not in the US, especially here in Australia.

Yahoo AU and Google AU are ok, not great but at least they are localised.

Movies only. Dictionary is the only other thing I might ever use, but since I'm usually in Word when I need definitions and such, the built-in Office one works just fine instead.

9 times out of 10 I use it for the dictionary. The other 1 time I use it for movies.

This is the biggest disappointment (software wise) that ever came out of apple. It had so much potential and was then left to flunder. Now with dashboard and searchlight coming out I don't think sherlock will be around much longer.

I also think it was a stupid name. I think it was too confusing for most people to grasp. Maybe that contributed to its lack of interest?

Hmmm...

I use it for Movies, eBay, Dictionary, Translation, and TV listings.

watson was one of the reasons i bought a mac, and i used watson to check tv listings and the weather. you can't do those things on sherlock. (and if someone can find good channels that'll work please let me know)

There's also a weather channel, which I just discovered.

7on please oh please tell me where you found those two channels! watsons' tv listings barely works for my provider, and the weather channel i used for sherlock never worked! :(

I've found that it's faster to use the Sherlock dictionary than to go to a dictionary web site, since I avoid the web display overhead.
