So all reviews I've seen of M2 Air says that it feels (and is) thinner. I haven't seen M2 Air live yet, but on the photos it looks actually bulkier than the M1 Air. If you've seen and used both, what's your opinion on this?
Why do people keep saying that M2 is lighter? It's literally 50 grams lighter than M1
If it was 1g lighter you'd also say so, right? Now go to blind test which one is lighter and correct yourself. I hate it when people argue like that. Apple fanboys use that thinking a lot, there's placebo effect going on for them to justify purchase without real benefit."Why do people keep saying this thing I am about to clarify as correct?!"
People are extremely easy to manipulate. Same thing goes with those negligible CPU "improvements" between iterations like with each new iPhone. Apple knows that and uses it for their advantage. Sheep will buy anyway. When people talk about grams ( not drugs ) its negligible, we aren't human walking scales. 50grams difference is impossible to tell and barely noticeable. Ive said it before and ill say it again, people on this forum act like all MacBooks are like Atlas stones, in reality they all weigh hardly anything and if you're struggling to hold one for long periods of time then get a gym membership and work on your pitiful guns
Im all for a lighter product and love what apple has to offer, but the 50 grams lighter things is nonsense. Having googled it, a Mars bar weighs 51 grams, how many people pick up a mars bar and even notice how much it weighs?People are extremely easy to manipulate. My guess is that this is likely to do with the distribution of the weight across the entire body being more uniform, rather than the actual weight being a factor, since 50g is pretty negligible at 1200+g.Why do people keep saying that M2 is lighter? It's literally 50 grams lighter than M1, it's completely irrelevant "improvement" that exists only on paper.
I care because it shows that Apple hasn’t given up on the idea of thin and light notebooks. It’s a brand new design that is actually lighter than the previous model. Why do people keep saying that M2 is lighter? So, we get it. You put up a poll expecting people to disparage the M2 the way you seem want to but they didn’t. They must all be sheep. Sheep, I tell you! 😊People are extremely easy to manipulate. Same thing goes with those negligible CPU "improvements" between iterations like with each new iPhone. Apple knows that and uses it for their advantage. Sheep will buy anyway.
The poll is about the thickness, not about the weight, you dumbo. 50 grams change in almost 3 pounds device means NOTHING. It just gives you placebo effect and mental comfort that sheep love. Baah baah. So, we get it. You put up a poll expecting people to disparage the M2 the way you seem want to but they didn’t. They must all be sheep. Sheep, I tell you! 😊
Perhaps you have manipulated yourself to dismiss any improvements as negligible because they don’t conform to your presuppositions. Perhaps you should go to an Apple store and actually hold one in your hands?
Why do people keep saying that M2 is lighter?
I haven't seen M2 Air live yet,
You still don't have a clue what I said, do you?Is this still true? Are you really arguing over subtleties of the look and feel of a device you've never seen or touched in person? Come on.
I haven't seen M2 Air live yet
Okay, I will try to politely explain. This is what you said.
