just got a refurbished silicone iPhone X case from Best Buy in the mail.

It has the TIMIEST gap between the camera and the case on the left side.

But otherwise it seems 100% authentic. The logo, text inside, the felt in the corners are all nicely done.

Nothing about it seems less than 100% except that.

I have the same thing but I'm using a X silicone case on my XS.

From what I’ve heard the X silicone case on the XS is a bit small on the RIGHT side. The left side should be the same as mine I would guess but idk.

So maybe that’s just how it is. Great case love it!!!

It's tight on the right side and VERY tight on the bottom. I had to use a knife to push the case down as it had caught on the camera module on the bottom. The left and top have a very slight gap but not enough to bother me.

I wonder why Apple designed the case this way????

Also, does the lip at the bottom where the speaker grill and lightning port is, does it slight push in. Ever so slightly. Like not sitting 100% flat on the back of the phone. Like 99.5% lol

What the heck is a "refurbished" case? Does Apple even refurbish cases for it to be considered a "100% authentic" Apple refurbished case?? Does it even matter enough to start an entire thread about?

I bought a brand new iPhone X leather case from BestBuy two months ago and the camera cutout is perfect along with the fit.. Guess you get what you pay for...

My leather case is the same. From Best Buy. What about silicone case?

I don’t like the silicone case so never bought one for any of my iPhones over the years.. I pretty much used Spigen exclusively until two months ago.. I really like the Apple leather case though..

I love the Apple leather case but it’s kinda slippery. So that’s why Apple silicone now

I treated my leather case with leather balsam for shoes and it got rid of the slippery feel plus it’s protected from water/stains.. Mink oil would do the same thing..

Thanks for the tip bro! Mines already patina’d or whatever it’s called. It’s the black one so doesn’t show but it’s definitely on the old side. Had it for awhile.

The camera module moved ever so slightly between the X and the XS. Not sure why but I suspect it may have something to do with everybody having to buy new cases...

Yes, mine is the same.
