When you scroll up and down is it REALLY laggy and stuttery?

How many pictures are in the "roll" when it is slow?

I had that issue.

Its because there are to many photo's in the role.

Assuming you sync the phone with some sort of picture application that backs up your photo's tell it to delete the originals the next time you sync.

This will clear your camera roll and start you over a new with all your old photo's where ever you kept them.

I dont think thats why.

I have other albums, with one having 249 pictures in and thats smooth.

My Cam Roll (ones taken with iPhone's camera) has 37 and it stutters.

Yes but this does not address photo's taken by the iPhone as they where taking buy the iPhone and are there for already optimized.
