If they are going to match the front with the back, then yes the colours are nice. Otherwise, it's pointless, you don't use it from the back. I like the white iPhone, but think they should have white (not black) on the front of the iPhone too.

Yea thats mainly the reason why I think the white looks stupid! What's the point of having the phone look like the black from the front but with a white back. It's nice to let people know that you have a 16 gig. But I would still get a black 16gig.
