Does anyone else think Black & Gold would've looked better than White & Gold?

I was planning on purchasing a black front for mine until I realized the back part had the white top and bottom. Not to mention, white separating bands. I wonder how easy it would be to swap all that out with a black unit? hmmm

Question is about gold and black though. Black goes with any shade or color and shows a true representation of said color/shade. White tends to wash lighter colors out while black enhances.

Mileage may vary.

Someone should petition Apple to bring back black/slate, that was the best design imo. I saw "space grey" today and it doesn't look that great.
