This can be annoying if I try to use the phone while it's still connected because it interrupts whatever I'm doing. About three seconds after the normal sync ends (and before I've ejected it in iTunes) the phone will reconnect to iTunes for another two or three seconds. iTunes shows nothing but the scrolling diagonal lined loading bar thing. It doesn't say what it actually doing.
