Does anyone get messages in imessage?

This guy called "travis.spear03@gmail.com" imessaged me saying that I gave him his number. Probably just a spam but does anyone else get spammed by this email address?

I'd say that could just be someone who thought they were texting the right person and texted the wrong person.
