I was wondering if anyone had a spare Diablo 3 guest pass that they could give me. I just received my 15" RMBP and wanted to install Diablo 3 (seems to be the popular thing to do), but it seems like Blizzard has temporarily halted downloads of the starter edition. If anyone in the MR community has a pass that they can message me, it would be much appreciated.

I'm in the same boat, lol. I've been looking around the forums and it doesn't seem that anyone has one or is willing to give one up. If I break down and buy the game in the next few days I'll make sure you get one of mine.

I would love to try Diablo as well. Can anyone spare a guest pass? Everyone around me keeps talking about it. I just hate to commit buying the game in case I don't like it.

    I'm looking for one too.

My machine probably won't run it, but I want to try so I can be sure one way or the other.

    Thanks.

My paypal account isn't working, unless you can set up a secure credit card link for me.

In the same boas - got a early MBP 2010 with NVidia 320M. I'd like to test before I buy.

If someone could PM me a guest pass I promise to return the favour of sharing my guest pass (if I buy) with someone on these forums.

    Thanks!

How long does a guest pass last?

I got the beta a couple months before the full thing went live -- it was surreal. All along I thought Blizzard has forsaken me (I don't think they ever posted my entry for the WoW comic competition...) but after downloading ALL the desktop pics they had (at 1050x1680) I got an email saying that I'd been invited for the beta. At first I thought it was another scam -- in fact I was just about to trash the email when I decided wait... just for the hell of it -- why not do a Google?

I was led back to the Battle.net Forums where it was said that I should check my Battle.net account and see if the beta invitation appeared there.

    It did.

Bloody amazing. Was it all those desktops pics that did it?? I mean... stuff that only a fanboi would do...

In any case, for those of you with early 2011 quad-core macbook pros with at least a Radeon 6750 (1GB)... Diablo is well worth getting -- but only if you have a decent internet service provider. That's what'll get you in the end. You can have all the nicest hardware and all, but in the case of D3, it's your internet connection that'll kill the game!

    Guest pass to share?

I would also like to get a guest pass to try Diablo 3 out before possibly buying the full game. Anyone?

Really? Charging for a guest pass is greedy bro, no matter how much money it is.

Who ever needs one PM me and I'll get you one, I have some extra ones from my Diablo III box.

I had two left and got two PMs today for them. Still giving out Scroll of Resurrection for WoW. Got 3 people waiting and can only give out 1 a day, but PM me with your email and I will send them to you within the week.

Just saw this thread...if anyone still has any floating around, I would really appreciate one? I will, of course, share any guest passes I come across if and when I buy the game.
