does anyone have a left mouse button that malfunctions with a tablet

this didn't happen with my old mac from 2006 but with my last two.its periodic and it lasts a short time.

whenever i use a tablet my left click (point/drag with the pen) will randomly start acting like right click and middle click habitually. it eventually stops on its own but restarting, unplugging my tablet only helps once in a while. reinstalling the driver isn't a fix. This happens with separate tablets too. usually it doesn't go away until it wants to.

why is my mac malfunctioning? i say its my last two macs because other macs i've been on haven't done this. it happens with all tablets i get.

any advice?
