I was just curious to get real feedback from people who may have bought a keyboard for their mini (like a folio keyboard case or small keyboard for travel).

Over the years, I used two keyboards with my iPads. A ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard (for some reason, it allows you to do gestures from the keyboard itself, which is what I like about it the most) , as well as the Apple Mini Keyboard that came with my iMac 2011. Both have served me well.

I was also lucky to get the official folio case with my iPad Pro 2016 (I bought it used), and it was pretty nice, but I wouldn't spend $80 on it if I had to.

I’ve just bought the KEYS-TO-GO 2 for iPad (UK version), for my iPad mini 7. Lightweight, compact and with a folding cover. Bought it on the strength of positive reviews on YT. Not rechargeable but runs off two CR2032 batteries that should last a couple of years. Very happy with purchase.
