and i don't mean the update....

I restored my computer with leopard...

Before I upgraded, I had the old iLife and used iMovie for a project. Now I can't view those movies, because after doing a complete restore and loading leopard instead, I don't have iLife...hence no apple intermediate codec, which quicktime is telling me I'm missing. when i download the update, I'm told I don't have the existing codec to update...what am i supposed to do? can anyone tell me how to get access to the AIC? talk about aggravating!

Your old iLife should be on your old install disks, the 2nd or 3rd one depending on which Mac you have. It will still run fine under leopard. It doesn't look like Apple allows downloading the codec separately from FCP or iMovie.
