I've seen a few people were able to get their hands on a pencil, but haven't seen anything regarding the keyboard. Seems pretty ridiculous that there is not even one out there

There are in apple stores for sale. I was at my apple store this morning and they had them on for sale on the shelf.

Why do you find it ridiculous?

Smart Keyboard was available at Reston, VA store this afternoon. Only one in stock. No Pencils have gotten there at all.

It's OK, I really wasn't looking to pluck down $169 for one anyway and glad it wasn't available so more time to really think about it cause I probably would have just jumped on it.

Mine arrived today. Really like it so far, the Logitech is a better keyboard but it is too bulky and heavy for me, so I like the apple model better. Typing will probably take a bit getting used to like on any new keyboard but initially it's pretty good.

So. Jealous. So irritating that Apple didn't get any stock of these or Pencils, but that's probably a broken-record complaint at this point...

I have the logitech case/keyboard and the apple keyboard on order (estimated next friday). The logitech unit is large and heavy but I otherwise like it a lot. In pictures I haven't been a fan of the way the Apple keyboard folds over when closed as a cover so it has a sort of tiered multi-level thing going on. I suppose I may get used to that though for the weight and size savings. The keyboard on the logitech is very nice, doesn't feel much different from a laptop keyboard. I'll really miss the backlighting on the logitech unit if I primarily go with the apple unit though. The logitech unit feels pretty awkward when you fold the keyboard all the way around behind the iPad to use it in traditional tablet form though and the case doesn't go on and off easily, that's an annoyance that I think the apple keyboard would take care of.

Is it true with the smart keyboard you can't have the iPad propped up like with the smart covers and use the digital keyboard? I am hearing this around the internet — though by the looks of the last photo I don't see why you couldn't?

And does look good, now I'm jealous. Mine says 2 to four weeks

My keyboard and pencil were available today. I was surprised at the feel of it, in a positive way. Think MacBook keystroke with a synthetic fabric-like covering. It's very comfortable, and well constructed. The weight is a bit more than I thought it would be, but not overly heavy by any means. Overall a surprisingly good experience.

Hey Guys got one just now from apple retail store in NJ. I must say Ipad pro is incomplete without apple smart keyboard. Now i see why apple released this device. Without Apple keyboard i was little skeptical about ipad pro and was very confused not anymore. People who has it without apple smart keyboard and who are not happy don't return it. I thought with Apple keyboard it will be heavy but i lift it gives fanatstic feeling. Not so heavy you can rest the keyboard on your lap and comfortably because there is no tracking so the distance between you and the tablet is less there no need for track pad.

How i got it:
Today i called in the afternoon to my local apple store but the phone was redirected to apple warehouse or customer service where they can check the inventory. Rep told me they have lot in stock i told them will they have by evening because i can go there in evening and rep said yes. Before going to store in evening i called again same process as above the rep told they don't have any in stock but then she transferred me to applecare where another rep who called my local apple store where she said few available there. I went there fast asked about the keyboard specialist directed to get the keyboard near the cases section and all i saw was logitech keyboard plus the other apple covers and cases from apple but not the Apple smart keyboard. So i went to the person by the door who sent me there and she said don't have apple ones but only logitech ones. I told her the whole story about my call. She told me to wait someone will help me. Then the specialist came and i asked about it and he checked his iDevice and he said he did not saw any and then i told the whole call story to him as well :) Then he went back to see whether they small quantity in the back. I was waiting for him to come desparetly playing with the ipp which today they dedicated table for it yesterday there were only 4-5 units and today 8 more units with dedicated table just like ipad, Mac etc...So now he came back kind of running to give me good news that there is only 1 unit left it was in his hand. He showed it to me and i got so happy and relieved that i got it. That rep also got so happy for me like he got it for himself. All the phone call to final specialist this was best customer service i got. What a company, what a people and what a device. I like typing on it so intentionallyi wrote that long and also to tell people that you can get it using above procedure talk to AppleCare and asked them to call your local store to find out inventory not just on their systems because it will show not available. Guys don't return the ipp without using it with Apple smart keyboard. I will post pictures soon.

edit: added couple more pictures.
