Does anyone have the New Mophie Air 7plus charge case

I recently just bought this great case love the fact you can do wireless charging with this case. I noticed the back up battery on the case is really horrible seems like it does not even charge the phone 50% anyone else have these and having this issue?

Yep the most I've had out of mine is 55%, I'm presuming there is a fair amount of inefficiency involved in the charging process.

Energy lost in heat etc. I'm okay with it because of the case protection and convenience of wireless charging and iPhone battery top ups when needed.

Disappointing - sticking with my caseless iPhone and having a spare battery charging pack when needed.

Looks ugly and certainly doesn't seem worth it for what it actually does in reality.

Honestly if it was not for the wireless charging i would def. return it. Its pretty bad something so big only charges 55% battery up.. Does Mophie claim that number is higher ?? that is really disappointing. Hopefully the next iphone will include wireless charging

I am having the same issue. I never had this issue with the Mophie case on my 6S+. Always charged it from 1% to 90%+

That sucks. I was thinking about buying one. Any other alternatives for the iphone 7 plus? I really wish apple would make the batttery case for the 7 plus. I don't know why, but my iphone 7 plus just doesn't last as long as my 6s+ used to. I haven't really dramatically changed the way i use my phone either.

Unless they changed it didn't they only offer a 60% battery charge with the plus versions?

I got it for Christmas. The irony of it is that I got a dock next to my bed, an air vent dock for my truck, and a desk mount so I'm pretty much always wireless charging so I haven't needed the backup battery.

Thanks for the input I called Mophie yesterday and the rep told me my case may be defective i dont know how accurate his information is. He told me I should be able to get to 100% from 20% then turning on the mophie battery pack. He told me i can return this and request a new one (not sure if this one will be better) I love the case hopefully he is right but who knows also i noticed when I use the car vent charger it takes super long to charge to. When i use 3rd party charge pad from anker for my desk it charges alot faster.
