A personal point of view I dislike it, but I also do business and from the business point of view I love it, people spends more money!

It's a one only "sale" may as well be.

I initially thought Black Friday was where everyone serving you would be dressed in Black.

That didn't pan out.

It's been years since I tried to buy anything on Black Friday. Now I avoid it at all costs. Hate the crowds. Hate the lines. And especially in recent years, hate the way they're making employees come in on Thanksgiving for this madness.

...The following year, similar thing with similar timing, except that it was my dryer which actually was in flames. So I got a great deal.
You need to clean out your lint trap more often. :p

I hate Black Friday, but mostly only because I've spent the past 11 years working in retail, more specifically Walmart (don't cast judgement on me for working there.) I've come to dislike retail in general. So after 11 years I finally said **** it and quit.

I unfortunately had to accompany my mom on Thursday for Black "Friday". At least it was to buy an iPad, but I digress. I'm really bummed that Black Friday has creeped into Thanksgiving Day, so that now no one comes in on Friday. See anecdotal sales data. Now retail workers have to work on Thanksgiving, and the sales bump that happened on Friday is now moved up to the holiday. It was bad enough when they started in the middle of the night on Friday, but this solved nothing but costing retail employees a major holiday. The logic of this escapes me. Retailers, bad.
