I got rid of my AGP flashing PC setup a few years ago, but now I've got another little project and I'm looking for someone to flash an AGP video card for me. Does anyone still have the setup and know-how to do this? I've seen a few mac-flashed cards on fleabay for powerPC but not exactly what I want. Thanks!

I'm looking to duplicate a BFG card for a G4 cube that uses a geforce 6200 GPU.

As there are a few different 6200s of this brand, a pic of the card would be helpful. Problem is that not all 6200s run with the same ROM. The XFX does. But most others need something "taylor made" for them.

By the way: BfG isn't the fastest you can get. There is a particular one of Club3D which has RAM labeled 400Mhz. This one can be reliably run at 430/450(!)Mhz, resulting in nearly double the speed of one of the standard 350/266Mhz-cards.

I once made a thread for that in german cube user forum, including benchmarks.

This one should be by far the fastest card that - unlike monsters like the Rad 9700/9800 or the GeForce 6800XT - can be run in the originale cube case (which finally makes a cube THE cube imho) and the stock VRM.

They are on ebay from time to time and look somehow like that. But most important is the labeling of the RAM chips, wich has to read 400Mhz.

Ah sorry! Didn't see, you just want to duplicate a card at the first look. So i assume you allready have a fitting ROM.

I would be interested in one of those cards. Do you flash them or have a ROM you could share? That auction looks like it's for a PCIe version...

If it's the card in the picture beeing sold it should be AGP. Also the description in "Artikelmerkmale" states "Kompatibler Anschluss/Steckplatz: AGP 4x/8x".

But also if the pic shows the actual card beeing sold, it is not the 400Mhz-version. Print on the RAM-chips looks kind of different. But the 400Mhz card looks just like that. In particular has the same fan on it. The are rare but not impossible to get. A saved search for "club 3d 6200" i.e. should show up one sooner or later.

Sadly my flashing machine seems to have died after years of no use too. But i still have the ROM for that card and can send it to you if you are able to find one of those.

Here is the actual auction pic of the card that i have. It came without a fan and beeing sold as defective. So i only payed 6.75 euros for it.

In fact it was not. It's still working fine in my cube.

Hello
Actually I just found club 3D 6200a you mentioned
Do you have the rom for the card?
Or Can I rom-flash it with xfx 6200’s?

What RAM configuration does the Card use? if it has 256MB of DDR2 it can most likely be flashed with the XFX ROM, (might require minor tweaking nothing too major)

I was able to Flash a PCI GeForce 6200 this way and get full core image in a Blue and white G3 :)

Yes that is a 256mb card
What is the minor tweaking thing?

Hello,

can you send me the bios for the club 6200 ?

best regards
