I recently bought the Sims 3 for a friend's birthday, turns out his Mac couldn't run it...

Is there anyway to return it?

If it's been opened then no refund unless faulty.

Most retail stores if the game/software/dvd/blu-ray is opened they will exchange it. You can not get a refund.
