Does anyone know if AT&T will have any financing options for the ultra?

It's a cellular watch and not a premium item (i.e. Hermes) so think they should when they become available on their site. The SS 45MM was more expensive and available for financing.

A rep told me there would be a trade in offer when preorders launch on the 9th. I’m sure there will be financing. They had it for the SS watches last year and this is only 50 more bucks

That doesn't make sense - has anybody else seen these delayed shipping dates?

I checked the https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/apple-watch-ultra-ordered-thread.2357210/page-13 thread & recent (a few hours ago - many hours before my AT&T order) orders show delivery dates by October 10th.

It depends on which band you order.

I had to select an option that had a 9/28 date. In my case, it was the Starlight trail loop.

Almost guaranteed that they will have financing on these. They can lock you in for 24-36 months with financing, and that definitely helps with churn and cash flow. Plus, customers seem to like it. A win-win all around.

I had to order the yellow ocean band to get it between 9/23-10/7, the orange alpine was 11/21-11/29 … So, I just ordered a replacement band.

I would do an online preorder just in case there’s nothing in the store…
If you luck up and find one in store then just cancel the online order.
