Does anyone know? (repair times)

Let's say,
If your macbook pro has been sent back to your local apple store today from The Repair Center.
This morning, I saw the notice on REPAIR STATUS on the Apple Site. That FEDEX delivered it back to my local Apple Store.
I called them and the guy told me they have to go through some process to make sure that the repair was done.

How long does it take? Does anyone know?
