I do photography and videography for a living and while I in zero way would consider my phone as a viable alternative for my work, I still like to know my equipment. A simple google search can find the bitrate for my drone, my gopro, my older iphone etc but I can find absolutely nothing on the iphone 11 other than it uses HEVC (which is just a given on this kinda device).

Anyone know? I assume it's gotta be above 90Mb/s since my year old gopro hero 7 records at 78 Mb/s. Any futher info or sources would be awesome, thank you!

1 Minute of 4K60 is 400MB, 4K30 is 170MB and 4K24 is 135MB. So that should be around 53ish Mbit/s for 60FPS, or about 106Mbit/s for H.264.

You can get exact numbers by transferring the video to a Mac and dropping the video file into a program such as Media Info.

When I tested the numbers on my Pro Max for 1080 HD 30, 1080 HD 60, 4K 24 fps, 4K 30 fps, 4k 60 fps I got:

10.1, 15.2, 32.2, 28.8, 63.3 Mbps.

Not sure why the bitrate for the 4K 30 (28.8) was less than the 4K 24 (32.2). It was a static 10 second shot using the ultra wide lens.

Thank you for the info! Man that just seems more compressed than I'd like. My few year old iphone 8 is at 54 Mbps, it's a shame they don't allow a "high quality" option.

So the lower the better or the higher the better? Comparing these numbers to those of Digital cameras with 4K recording

Moment app has option to choose High bitrate, but even so it’s just 100Mbps
