For the 25% off that they usually get a couple times per year?
Didn't you just answer your own question?
I thought it was the same as developers: 20%.
There is also a fine line between corporate employees and retail...
No, I didnt answer my own question... I was lookin for dates or certain time frames.
No he didn't. You have to READ the question carefully before posting your quips.
25% is once per calendar year.
THANKS PEOPLE! I didn't ask how maany times per year. ALl i want to know is when specifically. That is it.
There isn't a when. You get one per year, and when you use it, you don't get another available for 365 more days.
So the answer is, whenever the person you're trying to rope into buying for you is eligible again.
During that same time period, the employees also get 3x15% off. Not quite as good, but better than almost every other deal out there.
Except that they don't track how many 25% discounts you get. I used to use my 25% discount for multiple machines a year, a lot of people in my store did, and nobody really cared. Also, you get 50% off software as well as well as free copies of OSes, iLife, and iWork suites.
I don't know about Apple, but I know someone who works for a big book publisher and they get 50% off that company's books and 30% off any other publishers' books in a sort of cross-over trade deal ... plus they used to be able to take any papberback freebies that were thrown away in the big recycling bins (hard backs had a small charge), but unfortunately they can't do that any more because all stock is now warehoused in Australia.
