Does anyone leave 'Battery Percentage' on?

Lol, I used to always have my percentage on, but then I turned it off and realized I don't check my percentage, but am still aware of when I need to charge because the color of the battery changes.

The exception is I do leave it on when I get a new device, only so I can monitor it's drainage. Once I get how it drains, I turn off the percentage.

I may try doing this on the new phone. I do tend to obsess about the percentage....good thing I have charging cords in multiple rooms and the car. #battery #obsessed. This 6 better have AWESOME battery power.
 
I've always had it on. At this point, if it wasn't on, I would get overly anxious

I have the 6 Plus and the battery life is very impressive.
 
Just wanted to say I agree with the person saying to leave a certain percentage in case of emergency. I was in a late-night car accident and am very thankful my phone had plenty of juice left.

That can happen to anyone at any time. Dont think you're excluded.
 
6 Plus here... and nope. Battery is ridiculously good from 5am wakeup until plugging it in around 9:30pm.

Occasionally for kicks I'll turn it on then back off to see what % I'm at, but I'm getting through a typical workday taking it to meetings, listening to music, etc, and being at 85% at 5pm, it's awesome.
 
Nope, it's off. I've had it on for several years then realized it was just a waste to constantly be checking/looking at it throughout the day. Plus, it clutters up the status bar that much more; I do like clean UI lol. :eek:
 
I do. I just leave it on. I can easily use the battery a whole day I'm away from a charger compared to before where I charge it every 2 hours
 
First thing I did after getting the 6 was turning the battery percentage on. Way to awkward using the phone without knowing the battery level.
 
You will be happier in life if you keep % off. Trust me! Being at 39% used to make me crazy and charge. Now looking at the battery symbol only, I think I'm good for another 3-4 hours which is true.
 
I have it off because for one , my status bar looks a lot cleaner and two , I don't want to be stressing over how much battery I have left , if I get the "20 % message battery left " I'll plug it in , simple as that : )
 
I leave it on as I like knowing what percentage is left after fully charging the battery.
