I started to play this game since yesterday. I have a Macbook Pro 2009, so I have both NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and 9600M GT graphic Cards.
I have been switching between these two and found out, somehow I get better performance on 9400M.
It is very smooth when I use 9400M and when I switch to 9600m GT, it was very laggy....
Does anyone has the same experience? or Does anyone know how to fix it?

I just tried to play it on my 2010 15" MBP and I found it's unplayable due to crappy drivers. That's running natively on the mac, I have yet to try it on Windows VIA bootcamp.

That's weird. I used to have a 2008 Unibody 15 inch, and I got much better graphics performance with the 9600m GT compared to the 9400m in l4d2. I currently have an early 2011 15 inch with the AMD 6750m, and I get about 30 frames per second with everything pretty much maxed out under mac os x (no vsync). Haven't tried it under bootcamp yet.

That's really odd, but thanks for pointing it out. I've been playing online a lot lately on my 17" MBP, and most of the lag issues I'm having are server timeouts.

Might try switching cards to see if it does anything for the other lag.

I play on my mid-2010 MBP, and while I do have to knock down the video settings a little, I don't have any issues other than the laptop getting REALLY hot.
