The same "intel" design has been around as recently as the M2 Pro so no need to go back to intel!
My point was that it's not as big a difference when you consider how a lot of people hold their devices - we oftentimes hold them at the edges, which is where there's not much of a difference. Again - I have both computers right here and can compare them directly.
I was waiting for the Neo to launch because I was hoping it would be a follow-up to the 12” MacBook or 11” Air. Sadly, it was not. I still need a replacement for my 2018 quad core 13” pro that mainly functions as a lap-warmer.
Bit the bullet on an open-box M1 Air for $400 because it feels so much more premium to me and doesn’t dig into my wrists. I understand why many prefer the M2 and up, but for me it’s a no-brainer. Especially considering they have the same keyboard mechanism.
As an added bonus, it fits in the same Twelve South vertical stand as my Pro did!
