Does anyone still experience UI LAG now in 10.10.2?

I haven't paid too much attention to it since then until recently.
Now it seems lag free.
So yeah... I've done total of 3 clean installs now. This time it seems like WiFi and Bluetooth problems got somewhat solved. They are working fine now.
Safari still crashing and causing system freeze. Guess I'll have to stick with Chrome for now.
Didn't notice any difference considering UI lag. Just as smooth as Yosemite always was for me. Just very minor UI lag that doesn't bother me at all.
There's considerable UI lag in 2012 rMBP, also in 2013 rMBP but if you really want to see the most lag, use a retina iMac. Just pick a window, resize and wonder at how low the redraw rate is.
The UI lag is proportional to the screen resolution and the power of the GPU right now. But even with D700 at 1400p, the lag is there. I don't think this will be fixed during 10.10 but in 10.11.

When you a clean install don't reinstall all your apps right away. Play with the system for a while and see how it reacts without anything but the basic system installed. If Safari is crashing with the basic system install then I would suggest a call to Apple to report the problem. Just a suggestion.
Apple Yosemite and Windows Vista must be related
Absolutely yes, I'm having trouble. Makes me wonder if Yosemite and Vista are perversely related. If I was at the office and have come home, or vice-versa, I have to restart my MacBook Pro (as if it was a Windows machine!) in order to have wi-fi connectivity! This is bizarrely ridiculous. I am SO very sorry I installed Yosemite. I will never again install a new Apple OS until it becomes absolutely necessary, or only after I have spoken with lots of Mac users and they are happy, without fail, with whatever follows the disaster called Yosemite. This is reminding me of the travails I had with Windows ME and Windows Vista that caused me to finally switch to Macs. Where is Steve Jobs when we need him? (And yes, I've gone into System Preferences to check the order of preferred networks. But this really is every, single, stinking time. I feel genuinely misled and betrayed by Apple.)

Question for all you wise people here, I know that the Iris Pro is much better at the HD 4000 in GPU performance. However, a lot of the testing done to compare them are based on 3D performance. My question is that does that really correlate to desktop compositing? Isn't desktop compositing a 2D thing and does that still mean that the significant performance improvements still apply between them (aka should there be a noticeable difference on Yosemite like scrolling, resizing windows and stuff)? Thanks in advance!
Sluggish performance with Mac Mini 2012
I'm running Yosemite on a Mac Mini 2012 with two displays à 2048x1152 and I'm having lots of trouble since Yosemite. With transparency enabled the whole system feels slow and sluggish. Especially Mission Control is very sluggish. The blur and transparency effects slow down the whole system. Windows with lots of blur (Safari with favorites view etc.) can't be moved around without stuttering. "Reduce transparency" improves it a lot but it's still a bit slower than Mavericks.I have to say that I'm really disappointed by the compositing performance. I'm really hoping that it's getting better in future versions of OS X... (But I don't really think so)
