I would, but for some reason, when I try to connect my AE to my network, it disappears never to be seen again. That results in me haveing to fully reset it and try again - I just don't have the patience to do that more than 10 times....

Do you mean, stream to more than one Airport Express at a time?

Doesn't the latest iTunes have the option to stream to multiple Airport Expresses?

EDIT: Yes is does - or am I missing something

This is why I love MacRumors... I always learn something. Multi room.. here I come!

The first role of my APE is to share my printer. Its secondary role is to stream music to my receiver.

Woot. I just installed my AirPort Express into our main stereo system. So I'm downstairs on my MacBook listening to tunes, wirelessly :D it's pretty awesome.

I used to use it stream music, but I re-purposed it a few months ago to be a wireless print server.

I am going to get another one to stream music to my stereo. They usually have them in the refurb store.

I used to use my airport express to stream music to my tv stereo. Now I used my XBox 360 and Connect360. It works a lot better because I can control the music and select which songs/playlists from the 360 (and I get really cool visualizers too!!). And, I also get to play my music during games and share photos from my iPhoto, can't really get much better until they add video.

I have two of them: the first connects to a USB printer, Creature speakers, and my Cable Modem.
The second is in the living room and connects my TiVO and XBox to the wireless network as well as my living room stereo. The arrangement works pretty well, although you can't stream music and play XBox Live at the same time.

I can stream music, play PS2 online and surf the web from a laptop all at the same time through 1 express. Is Xbox different somehow?

What do you know!

I missed that firmware update, but now I installed it and, lo and behold, it works! I can play the same music in the office, kitchen and LR at the same time. For the 1 or 2 times a year I throw a party, this will be very nice!
