It's annoying for their customers who see new iPhones every year I think as they have a two year contract.
I'm upgrading to the 5S next month which is annoying to think a new one will be out a year later.

I have a feeling we'll be back to June releases, with a June 2015 launch of the iPhone 6.
I also have this feeling. They know they need so catching up to do. You could see it in their faces in the keynote, it was awkward. They can't afford to wait till September.
