I see a number of cases online for the Neo. I was curious whether anyone is using a case? I probably won't, but may change my mind as time goes by.

I am - I have a case on all my Macs.
I have this one: https://a.co/d/09jRI60N
Not affiliated with them or anything. It's fine and works well. It's a little slick as it's a hard case. The one from the same company for the Air is softer touch.

Thanks for the link - those look really nice.

I bought a cheap indigo hard case from Aliexpress:

It fits perfectly, and does the job. If I was being picky, I would say it's very slightly rough on some of the edges, but it was cheap enough to be disposable and should stop my Neo from scratching.
Thanks for the link . . .

No but I do have a sleeve
I was at an Apple reseller store in Copenhagen, Denmark and the rep said they don't recommend a shell/protector because the display hinge will cause it close / flop due to the weight.

They recommended a sleeve so I picked up a Native Union:

I got this for my wifey's Neo: Finite Neo shell. It's very thin and light - you forget it's there after a while

Well, "time passed by" and I got one - see the thread

hope it works well

I know I did not want to deal with the impacts of added stress on the hinge and potential damage to lid (may pull the corners up)
So far so good. It's in its third day (I guess?), and the MBN's hinge is fine. The weight of the cover doesn't pull the screen down - it acts normally. I'm a happy camper . . .
