I CANNOT, for the LIFE OF ME, figure out how to name my stupid document! All my crap is in the cloud apparently, so when I click the documents thing at the top left, where you could normally name it in the drop-down, all I get it other crap and not the option to name the document.

Seriously, I’m about to lose my mind.

And it doesn’t help that every time I type a capital I on my keyboard, it automatically changes it to this - I️ - unless I hit the little x next to it when it pops up.

What is going on? I’m about to throw this iPP through a damn window.

Might be better using MS office products or even google as they might give better options and still leave you able to save in the cloud as you want.

Oh and the letter I thing is an iOS 11 Fitch and I’ve read you need to select another language in keyboard settings then switch it back forcing it to download and install again.

Go to the document file and tap the name. It’s unfortunate that the title isn’t changeable within the document window. This drop-down feature you’re describing doesn’t exist in Pages. The ‘Documents’ button on the top-left has and always will return you to the landing page of all your recent documents or iCloud Drive.

You can figure out of how use Pages for iPad here:

Also that letter mixup is a known bug as described here:
