I am going to return to a phone to Apple.com online store via mail.

Of course, the sim that came in the phone is now the activate one on my account. Can I move that sim back to another phone for the time being, while I wait on them to refund this purchase and restore my upgrade?

Or, are they going to say I didn't return the item completely because the sim is missing?

Thanks!!!!

Thanks rugmankc

Great information. I also called Apple, the rep told me to return the card, then I explained I would have no service, and he checked and said, no problem, I can keep the card.

However, rugmankc, is what you're suggesting, when they process the return, the card will be turned off? Who should I contact to keep the service active, AT&T?

Thanks again!!!

I've returned in the past to an Apple store, not online. They didn't care about the sim. May be different online.

My guess would be unless you call them and transfer it to another iPhone they will deactivate it.
