Does Apple Music know which songs in a Playlist you already have yet?

hey everyone.

If you have songs on your device, then download a playlist of 50 songs (let's say ten of which you have on the device already).... Once you're done with that playlist and remove it ; Apple Music will actually also delete the songs you already had (that you clearly liked before the playlist).

Does it still do this?

To answer my own question:

It still removes downloads of song you already own, or have already downloaded via Apple Music.
