Hi

I do not have an Apple Card. Does Apple offer any other financing for an iPad?

Since I am with Verizon, I could always purchase through them. Is there any advantage to purchase with Apple?
Thanks

I financed an ipad through verizon awhile back and it was fine. It’s 0% financing so youre literally paying just the sale price without any extra funny charges and when i did mine, they had a promo going on that if you bought it on payments get $100 off.

Advantage of verizon or apple? None really. Unless there’s something I’m totally spacing out on, apple would only finance you through their credit card (which I’m not applying for) and verizon at least you just have to have an account and youre good to go. Warranty is the same no matter who you buy with.

Personally, i’m living the Dave Ramsay lifestyle and not financing things anymore. Just buying outright. My thinking is if i cant afford to buy it, I probably cant afford It. And I’d rather save for a month or two to buy it than have 24 months worth of commitment. But you do you brother

They don't offer anything other than through their card. I typically do finance mine through ATT because I have to get cellular devices anyway, and if you're paying for the service, it winds up being the same, unless of course you don't need cellular, in which case you're paying a good bit more.

Depends if you need to switch carriers. eSIM/carrier visibility is locked to Verizon so for example, you can't sign up for the iPad-only T-Mobile $10/5GB/5 month plan on a Verizon iPad.

The physical Nano SIM card slot is unlocked though, as long as the SIM you're installing already has a working plan.

In addition to the Apple card, there's also the Barclay Financing option too. Tap on the apple.com Financing link at the bottom of the page.

I don't believe the Apple Card offers financing for iPads, just iPhones for now.

Another option, if you have Amazon or Best Buy credit card, both have been offering 0% APR installment on high ticket items when buying from their respective stores.

I think Amazon offers like 12-18 month terms and they're more likely to have discounts on iPads than Apple.
