iPad Pro Does Apple Pencil 2 has the W1 chip for auto pairing?

I’m assuming so because you just magnetically connect to the side and it auto pairs to that device. Either that or NFC.

AFAIK there is no cross compatibility with the old pencil/iPad and new pencil and 2018 iPad Pro

Does Apple Pencil 2 wirelessly charge from the new iPad Pro only, or can it also charge from a Qi wireless charger?

I was hoping by a single tap the gen 3 iPad Pro can recognize and autoconnect the pencil without having to dock it to the magnetic charging port first
