Does Apple sell new aluminum casings/panels?

    Looking to replace the bottom of my 15" MBP with a big ol' dent.

    Apple will charge you a fortune to do it and will not give you just an extra one for you to do yourself.

    Apple does not sell them, you'll have to buy them from a place like ifixit or ebay.

    I don't think :apple: would sell them. It would make it way to easy for someone to build clones and sell them with the :apple: logo on it...

    If you're still under warranty, contact Applecare. A representative got me in touch with a local authorized Apple service provider (i.e. Cornice). I received a great quote and was able to replace my bottom panel along with its lovely scratches and dents. :)

    Contact Applecare they will sort you out. Apple's customer service is great!!!
