Does Apple sell new aluminum casings/panels?

Looking to replace the bottom of my 15" MBP with a big ol' dent.

Apple will charge you a fortune to do it and will not give you just an extra one for you to do yourself.

Apple does not sell them, you'll have to buy them from a place like ifixit or ebay.

I don't think would sell them. It would make it way to easy for someone to build clones and sell them with the logo on it...

If you're still under warranty, contact Applecare. A representative got me in touch with a local authorized Apple service provider (i.e. Cornice). I received a great quote and was able to replace my bottom panel along with its lovely scratches and dents. 🙂
