Does Apple TV 4K do 4K movie rentals?

I looked everywhere for this answer but couldn't find it. I only use my Apple TV mainly just to rent a digital movie now and then. I know you can BUY 4K movies to view on the Apple TV 4K. But can you RENT 4K movies as well?

yes if the 4k version is available for the movie you want to rent you will get the 4k version
