Does Apple typically do Xmas or Boxing Day sales?

Buying my first macbook pro. Just wondering if holding out until xmas for any sort of apple promotion is a thing?

Not familiar with apple if they do seasonal deals/discounts like this.

Pretty sure they box up the computers as they come off the line, so there is no special day.
