Does Apple usually do special pricing for the holidays?

In the market for an MBP..now that the school special with the free Ipod Touch is over, is there likely to be a holiday special? Thanks....

Short answer: they do. I bought my MacBook with a $100 discount. Last thanksgiving "black friday" event.

I remember wondering the same thing last year when I wanted to buy my iMac. Basically if you can get educational discount now, no reason to wait.
