Does anyone know if using the maps app on the watch for directions would include live-updating traffic info, like the phone does. (So for example, if I'm driving somewhere following the maps, but an accident ahead shutdown traffic, will the watch know to re-route me?)

I've had to make use of that several times on my phone & can't find any clear answers to this on the forums or apple's support website (unless I'm using an improper term to describe what I'm looking for)

The phone and watch work in tandem - taps for next turn. So if Apple Maps redirects you, youlll still a notice to take the next turn. Is that what you’re asking?
