Does Black Friday give "real" iPhone sales?

By real I mean actual discounts or are they all special discounts with complicated terms like B1G1 on a contract and adding a second line, etc.

I'm just wondering since the X released so late into November, is it worthwhile just to wait a few weeks for Black Friday rather than buy one now and pay full price just to own it for a few weeks earlier?

No reason to wait. You may see deals on the 8 or 8 Plus but I doubt there'll be any on the iPhone X. Remember, people will still be waiting on their preorders in December. No way they discount it before all preorders go out.
