Does "Charged" + "Preparing to ship" = Launch Day Watch? Regardless of initial date?

I don't even know. This is my first Apple Store pre-order.

My guess is, probably yes. They're not going to charge you and then wait for a week to send the watch. Of course there's always the possibility of shipping delays and the like, but the chances seem really good.
I don't think anyone bu apple knows for sure, but it certainly seems likely. You might want to see if you can find a tracking number... That might be a better indication.
Even if you place your order on the 24th, you'll get it. Cook will come to your house and personally apologize for the delay.
Mostly a gift card, AppleCare on the debit card.
Friday-Tuesday is better than 4-6 weeks so I'll take it.Thanks! Here's hoping.
Well, with the way the launch has been handled thus far... a charge and 2 week delay in shipping is possible haha.
I've checked UPS and FedEx with no results so far. I'm one of the lucky 4-6 week-ers that went to preparing for shipment today.
Here's hoping! Monday is cool too - better than 4-6 weeks lol.

I was actually lucky... After a mishap during the iPhone 6 launch, I now always call after I order anything, just to be double sure everything is copacetic.. The guy at Apple said "wow.. I'm jealous, you're one of the first orders for that watch (42mm Sport, White).. That's the one I want." he was a pretty cool guy so I asked if "in his experience", if he believed I would certainly get my watch first wave. Of course, he didn't CONFIRM I will get it Friday, he said "if I had to guess, you will.." and like you.. I now have a charge and "preparing to ship" with no tracking numbers. I hope this gives you SOME comfort.. I think we will be ok.. I sure would like some numbers though (probably like most of you, I enjoy watching my Apple products get closer). Good luck to those who preordered..
Sidenote-- I have to laugh at all these people making fun of the price of this watch.. I wear a Tag.. That JUST tells time and weighs about 50 stone (i have no idea how heavy that really is)... and also cost about 6 times more than this watch... THAT DOES ****! Society is funny...

If you were charged your Watch is in transit. Probably will get it Friday. If not Friday than first part of next week.
