does every text message count?

When you get a text message, a little box will pop up on the screen with what the text message says. What happens if i go into the sms app and delete the message without opening the conversation box. Would that count as a text message on my plan, or would it be like i never read it?

what others have said, yes, every text message you send and receive counts. but what if your phone is never on? if somebody sends you a text while your phone's off, does that count, too?

You still receive the message when you turn the phone on. It makes no difference.

Yes every text counts. I have a family plan with two iPhones and i just put unlimited texting on them both
