I’m still on a Series 1 watch, currently running WatchOS 5.2.

A couple weeks ago, I switched from a single photo watch face to the Siri watch face. I recently noticed my battery life is much worse than it used to be.

Do different watch faces affect battery life. I honestly can’t recall for sure if my battery life changed before or after the watch face change.

Seems to. Also faces with a lot of complications for apps that run in the background seem to use more juice. You can configure apps of course, but if you want weather alerts, the app will probably have to be running all the time.

The Siri face does seem to use more power. The others, as far as I can tell, aren't significantly different from one another.
