does finalcut pro 7 studder on a Macbookpro 15 Inch i7 or i5

    "SIMPLY" has anyone used finalcut pro 7 on a Macbookpro 15" i7 or i5 2.66ghz...I have been told From various mac users that it will studder oft times uploading HDV 1080i and also when rendering... Is it so? ... so many people have been guessing and have not actually used finalcut on "Macbookpro 15"... what do you say experts only.... :);)

    chances are, it is not going to stutter. the i7/i5 is 50% faster than the previous gen top core 2 duo processor.

    i've worked in FCP 7 with 1080p footage, and 720p footage on my C2D 2.8 GHz MBP, with little to no issue. So I would imagine a i5 or i7 would have NO ISSUE. Though I won't be getting the 5400 rpm HDD when I get my next MBP in a few years.

    I can tell you FCP 6 doesn't miss a beat on my computer (see sig). I ONLY use 1080 HD footage
