The main incompatibility will be with iOS 5.

It works on 5.0 betas with 4.x baseband preserved :D

Heard of google? ;)

How clever of you.

Glad it works, I might pick a few up soon. iPhone 4 unlocking has become a huge request in my area and I might as well cash in on it.

:p

Their price will go down once iOS 5 is released. ;)

That's why I figured I should get on it before September. That way I'll still be able to do it. :p

Do you know how many people are ignorant about bb preservation?
There are people who don't even know that pwnage is for Mac.
Trust me, there'll be posts from ignorant twits about how they accidentally updated to 5.x and now their gevey won't work.

Have you actually tried this? I see one blog post claiming this, and people on other forums claiming it doesn't work.

He asked if you tried it. You said no. If you haven't tried it how do you know for sure?

Coz a friend of mine said she tried it and it worked. Even though I got a dev account am staying away from betas :)

Good enough. And good idea, there are already enough people "bricking" their iPhones with the beta.
