It does not come with a dvd or flash drive at all. Just a recovery partition. Also, re-download Lion and iLife 11 through Mac App Store.

Here is a link to Apple answer about new iMac's with Lion and iLife.

So if the content in recovery partition is doomed by whatever reason, what can I do? bring it to a apple store?

if the hard drive is bad as well, you'd have to take it into an applestore anyway since the hard drives are apple proprietary now in the new iMacs.
