Yeah, what is the deal with that? Are they actively trying to make iOS worse?I have the exact same issues with mail on iOS 10.3.2!
Works fine for me in iOS 10.3.2, just as it has in earlier versions of iOS 10.When I forward a text and I start to type the name in, I used to only have to type one letter and the most recently used contact starting with that letter would come up. Now I have to literally type out the entire name. Please tell me this is just a glitch.
Or, as has been the case more often, there are some glitches or oddities that some people run into here and there (as is the case with any iOS version, or really any OS in general).Yeah, what is the deal with that? Are they actively trying to make iOS worse?
Yes, their goal is to try to annoy you as much as possibleAre they actively trying to make iOS worse?
Sure seems like itYes, their goal is to try to annoy you as much as possible
You're going to have to be a little more specific. When you say works "fine", do you mean that it works just as well as it did in iOS 8 when you type the first letter of a contact it brings up the most recently used name?Works fine for me in iOS 10.3.2, just as it has in earlier versions of iOS 10.
That's correct. After a type a letter, about half a second or so later it brings up recently used contacts that would match, just as it did before.Sure seems like it

Interesting, I can't possibly imagine why it work any differently for me regardless of Jailbreaking. Please double check, it should bring up the most very recent contact with just one letter in Messages when forwarding a message. That's correct. Checked multiple times, in addition to using this feature on an almost daily basis. Not sure what might be going on in your case, or that of some others, but we've certainly seen all kinds of weird things that sometimes a few or some experience while most do not, so that aspect of it isn't all that unusual.Interesting, I can't possibly imagine why it work any differently for me regardless of Jailbreaking. I'm not talking about searchI need to type 1-3 letters to get to name. Otherwise I use recents or favorites. Never use search and not an issue for me. Am not Jailbroken. If Jailbroken, expect possibility of some issues.
Really? Good there is hope!I just checked again and mine comes up when I type the first letter.
10.3.2
I'm not talking about search

Oh I see.
When done that way the letter I type comes up with names starting with that letter. But, in alpha order. I don't do a lot of messaging. So, maybe not a good test.

Just to be clear, we are talking about when you either forward a text message or start a new one right?I just checked again and mine comes up when I type the first letter.

HmmmYes, that's correct.
Potential differences with your device and/or data? Jailbreak? Tweaks? Backups that might have something off I them? Etc.?Man I just don't get how I'm experiencing such different behavior from the same operating system
