Does iphone 4 crash less than iphone 3g?

I'm considering an upgrading to iphone 4, mainly because I feel my 3g keeps crashing so often because of low resources. It's not clear to me that the crashes are really because of bad coding, it really feels like apps crash for no reason other than the phone can't handle is. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Yes, 3GS & 4 are muuuuuuuch better in that regard.

My i4 hasn't crashed once. My 3G didn't crash that much either....except when I experimented with Jailbreaking it. Then it crashed all the time, but that is to be expected from hacks done by 14 year olds experimenting with the freeware concept.

I switched from a 3G. My new iPhone 4 hasn't crashed at all, at least that I can remember.
