iPod touch Does iPod touch have VPN?

hi guys, i am wondering if the ipod touch has an internet connect app that allows me to use VPN like on mac os x? cause i've been searching around and nobody covered that topic. a little help here would be much appreciated cause i would like to use it in my school a picture would be great too! thanks in advance

I don't think that it does. I've gone through all the settings and can't find it like I could on the iPhone.

Interesting. The iPhone supports PPTP and L2TP VPN's. It can be configured in the Settings -> General -> Network -> VPN page. There is also a switch to turn it on and off at the top level Settings page. This does not appear on the Touch?

I've done the jailbreak, and now in my Network Settings I have a VPN option.

I've tested out the PPTP VPN and it seems to work for a bit and then dies, but it's a start....

there is also vnsea available under installer/network/vnsea if you installed the community apps...but I can't get it to work lol

That isn't anything to do with VPN, that is VNC

Okay so I see VPN in settings/gernal/network but I am getting the server doens't exist... gah I am almost positive that the connection is set up correctly what am I doing wrong?

I bought the Touch to use in class... No 802.1x and VNP support is an absolute nonsence...

My university let you use the method of your choice, so I would be glad to have either one, but that might not be the case for everyone.

Yeah here is my school's page on setting it up.. i don't know what I am doing wrong.. Any advice please..I bought this thing like the one of the guys above me said to use in class when i don't need my lappy.
