Next to taking pictures with it, this as got to be the second weirdest thing you can do with it. Or can you? Haven't read anything one way or the other.

    Touch ID
Advanced security. Right at your fingertip.

iPad Pro uses Touch ID technology to turn your fingerprint into an unforgettable password. So you can unlock your device with just a touch and keep your personal data safe, even if you share your iPad with someone else. Touch ID also lets you make secure purchases in iTunes, iBooks, and the App Store. And with Apple Pay, you can make purchases within your favorite apps, easily and securely.

Apple Pay will probably only work within the iPad - not using it at a local terminal.

Yes, that's what it sounds like to me. The alternative would be silly.

That's currently how it works, so probably the same with the Pro.

This has got me thinking: Apple isn't going to open up RFID to developers until they release an iPad with it. Typically, any feature should be as widespread as possible to encourage applications and take of its usage.

    Pardon the off-topic-ness.

They could keep it in the baby seat of a shopping cart and use it to follow their shopping list. :)
