Does iTunes 7.7.1 solve your sych issues?

I downloaded it last night just after it'd been released and synched up the phone this morning. Unlike previously, the backup didn't take forever and the phone seemed to synch perfectly this time. Could simply be a coincidence, but I'm curious if it has helped others with 3G synch issues.

I installed it this morning, did an update check for apps and ALL the ones i had previously done anyway showed up again ... so i think they have sorted the versioning out slightly....

I then resynch'd iphone and it reinstalled the apps .... so i think it seems better than it was.

Just have to wait for iphone 2.0.x to fix everything wrong with the phone

My back-up was about 2 min 30 sec and just before the update I was at 3 min 30 sec. So, a one minute improvement? Someone should develop an app specifically for the back-up speed...

In Terminal with iTunes closed:

defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool true

Change true back to false to cut it back on.

I don't have any (p)sych(ological) issues, but it doesn't seem to have made a blind bit of difference to my sync speeds.

I'll update my iTunes tonight and test my wife's 2.0 1st gen iPhone.
